Pacific Equity Partners wins Firm of the Year Award at the 22nd Annual AVCJ Awards in Singapore, along with Large Cap Exit of the Year for Intellihub
Sydney 14 November 2022: At the 22nd Annual AVCJ Awards Ceremony in Singapore, Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) was the recipient of the award of the Firm of The Year for 2022.
The Firm of the Year Award, which PEP won in the mid capitalisation category, honoured the year’s outstanding private equity firm engaged in buyout, growth capital or venture capital investing in Asia. It considered the entire Asian private equity community including global, pan-Asian and country-specific private equity firms operating in Asia. AVCJ is the largest Asia-focused private equity organisation and has recognised industry achievements for over two decades.
In addition to the Firm of the Year award, PEP was also the recipient of the Exit of the Year for 2022 in the large cap category for Intellihub.
Accepting the Firm of the Year award in Singapore, PEP’s Shannon Wolfers said: “We are very honoured to have been chosen for these awards. They are a symbol of our standing amongst our peers in the region and were enabled by quality performance across PEP’s funds.
“Our 25th year in business has been our strongest yet. The team has made five acquisitions collectively worth A$6.4 billion in EV; we’ve realised the sale of seven portfolio companies, returning an average 3.8x gross multiple of money invested (MoM) and an average 62% gross IRR; raised new capital for our A$1.5 billion Smart Metering Fund and seen further progress in building out our newer Capital Solutions and PEP Gateway investment strategies.”
